Credits
Every Washes release in the past 5 years, over 300 published works spanning many genres, was mixed and mastered by Michael. Building on that experience, he has co-produced, mixed, and mastered releases for several independent artists in the country, electronic, hip hop, and rock genres.

Approach
Michael was a musician and songwriter before he started mixing. As such, he works to earn the trust of an artist by honoring the musical intention of their initial mixes while bringing out important details in the work.
His approach is best described as an analog stem mixing workflow using digital tools and shortcuts. Michael prefers to treat mixes in groups for cohesion - drums, percussion, bass, guitars, keys, vocals, background vocals, fx - and bus them through preamps, compressors, EQs, and limiters to shape the sound while maintaining the original character of the song.
